Welcome to our brand new Haute Knits™ store, your destination for everything stretch! We have been working hard to source some of the very best products for making your own activewear and swimwear pieces. As the creators of DIYStyle®, and  Allyce King Swim™, we have logged 1000's of hours behind the serger and coverstitch, sewing spandex stretch knit fabrics. We learned a ton along the way, and are eager to share our designer activewear sewing "secrets"! In the DIYStyle.net video tradition (back then we called them vodcasts--hah--how times have changed!), we will soon be adding how-to videos here at Haute Knits™, teaching you the industry standard techniques that are essential for making high quality activewear and swimwear.

Allyce and I have spent years perfecting much of this as we grew her swimwear line Allyce King Swim™. Over the past 6 years AKS has dressed hundreds of women for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA state competitions...........so you can imagine how perfect these special swimsuits had to be for these discerning clients! Along with designing for precise fit, we spent many hours with sample seamstresses and production, learning as much as possible in creating the very best swimwear. Now, with our combined years in the fashion, education, and sewing industry (over 50 years between the both of us!) we are bringing these techniques and specialized tech products to you!
